Since my time at Art College I have had a keen interest in using wax as a resist method to create patterns and designs on fabric. Normally, when summer comes I pop up a gazebo in the garden, get out my wax brushes and dyes and go out to play. The joy I feel when I iron off the material to reveal how the dyes and wax interact with the dye and fabric never ceases to make me smile.
